Set on high ground near the old Cilmaenllwyd Quarry. Sandstone from the Ludlow Rocks (Silurian) formation was quarried above Cilmaenllwyd in the eighteenth century. These stones were used in the area as roof tiles.
Has excellent views over to Carreg Cennen Castle.
